Is there a free trial?: Yes. Start a 3-day free trial of Max and generate one complete eight-part project — all the way through, so you can judge the real quality before you're billed. After 3 days the trial converts to Max at $20/mo; cancel anytime before then and you won't be charged. You also get six free single-document generators with no account at all.
What counts as one project?: One project is one complete run through the questionnaire that produces all eight deliverables — an execution blueprint, business analysis, PRD, UX/UI spec, technical architecture, user stories, a build roadmap, and a context index. It's not eight separate credits; it's one idea taken end to end.
What if a generation fails partway through?: You're never charged a project for a failed run. The slot is only consumed once the PRD stage completes, and retries resume from the last finished document — so a hiccup mid-generation costs you nothing.
Can I cancel anytime?: Yes. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access until the end of your billing period. Even after cancelling, every document you've generated stays available to view, download, or push directly to GitHub.
Do unused projects roll over?: No — quotas reset each billing cycle. The flat plans are designed so you always know exactly what you're paying, with no metering or surprise overage charges.
Who owns the output?: You do. The documents are yours to use however you like — paste them into Claude Code, Cursor, or any AI coding agent, share them with your team, or commit them to your repo.
